That's why we created Authentic Connect — a 30minute "Get To Know You" call that helps us understand 

who you are, what you're looking for (and not looking for), and whether you’re serious about finding a long 

term partner.

We designed it to weed out the "Yahoo boys," catfishers, and anyone else who’s just not here for the right 

reasons.

During the call, we chat about:

✔️ Who you are — not just your profile photo.

✔️ What you're hoping to find.

✔️ What you’re not interested in wasting time on.

✔️ And, occasionally, we’ll do a quick ID check using public tools like BeenVerified.

Our goal? To build a space grounded in trust, respect, and real intentions.

We can’t promise perfection — people are people — but we do everything we can to keep the Dating Over 

Coffee community authentic.

Here's what Authentic Connect does not include:

❌ Sex offender registry checks

❌ Financial history checks

❌ Employment or marital status verification

❌ Hidden lie detector tests (as tempting as that might be)

We're not the FBI. We're more like your nosy but lovable best friend who just wants to make sure you're not 

walking into a total disaster.
